TERMS & CONDITIONS
The promoter of this casting and fashion show is Colgate-Palmolive BV, registered in The Netherlands, with registered office at P.J. Oudweg 4, 1314 CH Almere.
Participation
- The live casting will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 11:00 to 15:00.
- Participation is limited to a maximum of 250 participants and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis through completed registration forms.
- The competition is open to anyone above 18.
- Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is a condition of entry into this competition
Conditions of Entry
- The competition is only open to residents of The Netherlands.
- Participants must complete the online registration form. Walk-in participants on the day of the casting will only be accepted if the number of pre-registered participants has not reached the maximum capacity of 250 physical casting spots.
- Participants must not be exclusively represented by a modeling agency or otherwise restricted from participating in the casting and related activities. By registering, participants confirm that they are legally free to participate in this non-paid/TFP project without requiring approval from any third party. Participants remain fully responsible for any claims, disputes, or fees arising from inaccurate or misleading information provided in relation to their representation status.
- Participants grant the promoter and its partners an unlimited, worldwide, and royalty free right to use all photography and video material captured during the live casting and, if selected, during the fashion show at Amsterdam Fashion Week, across both online and offline channels, including print media, for commercial and promotional purposes.This usage right applies to, but is not limited to, the channels and platforms of Colgate, Amsterdam Fashion Week, The Creative Lab, and Cosmopolitan. Participation in the live casting and fashion show is on a non-paid basis. Participants waive any right to financial compensation, royalties, or additional approval regarding the use of such materials.
- Participants acknowledge that their likeness, name, voice, image, and appearance may be recorded and publicly used in connection with promotional, editorial, commercial, and social media content without further notice or approval.
- Participants waive any right to inspect or approve the final materials.
- Participants acknowledge that backstage footage, interviews, livestreams, behind-the-scenes content, and social media content may be captured and published.
- I acknowledge and agree that this project is on a TFP (Trade For Portfolio) / non-paid basis. I understand that I will not receive financial compensation for my participation, but in return, I will receive professional photo and video material for my portfolio and a unique experience at Amsterdam Fashion Week.
- Participants are responsible for their own transportation, accommodation visas, insurance, and any other personal expenses. Food & beverage is taken care of during the show during Amsterdam Fashion Week and only beverage during the live casting event.
- Participation is at the participant’s own risk. The promoter shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, theft, travel costs, accommodation costs, or other expenses incurred in connection with participation in the casting, fittings, rehearsals, or fashion show, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
- Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, unsafe conduct, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff, participants, designers, partners, or guests will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event.
- Participants may not attend rehearsals, fittings, or event activities under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Selection
- Selected participants must confirm their attendance by replying to the notification email within 48 hours of receiving the notification. If no response is received within this timeframe, Colgate reserves the right to offer the runway spot to another participant. In such case, the originally selected participant will no longer be eligible to participate the runway show.
- Selection decisions are based on creative, artistic, and production considerations at the sole discretion of the promoter and participating partners.
- Selected participants must be available to attend a mandatory fitting session, which will take place approximately two (2) weeks prior to the show date. Failure to attend the fitting may result in removal from participation in the show.
- Participants acknowledge and accept that they will wear the clothing provided by the designer they are assigned to and will not be able to request or select specific designers or looks.
- Participants must inform the promoter in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or accessibility requirements that may affect participation.
Promoter’s Rights
- The promoter’s decisions regarding all matters related to the live casting and fashion show shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The promoter reserves the right to change schedules, call times, designers, locations, production details, styling, or event formats at its sole discretion.
- The promoter further reserves the right to remove, reject, or disqualify any participant in cases of fraud, misconduct, breach of these Terms & Conditions, inappropriate behaviour, or any action that may negatively impact the event, production, participating designers, partners, or brand reputation.
- The promoter accepts no liability for incomplete registrations, technical issues, delayed communications, failed submissions, connectivity issues, or any other circumstances that may prevent participation in the casting process or related event activities.
General
- The promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the event and for no other purpose. Your personal details will always be kept confidential. Data will be held in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. By participating in the competition, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here. - Any personal information received from any participant will only be used for administering the competition as set out in these Terms and Conditions and will not be sold or provided to third parties. Participants have a right of access to any computer files containing any of their personal data and a right to have such data corrected or deleted.
- Participation does not create any employment relationship, partnership, agency relationship, or entitlement to employee benefits.
- The competition will be governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any claims and/or disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of The Netherlands without prejudice to any right of any participant to bring or defend a claim in the jurisdiction in which (s)he resides
