The Creative Lab is a leading Amsterdam-based platform supporting sustainable talent in fashion, art, and design, founded in 2022 by creators Marijn Stouthamer and Roos Koks. It was created from the need for a space where they could meet other creators and their audiences, starting with pop-up markets that bring people together through creativity, connection, and conscious shopping.
NETWORK OF CREATORS
The Creative Lab makes conscious, affordable, and unique shopping more accessible, while supporting emerging independent creative brands. Since its launch, the platform has grown into a network of more than 500 creators.
Alongside their pop-up markets, Roos and Marijn have hosted pop-up stores featuring over 100 sustainable brands, entrepreneurial masterclasses, and presented their first fashion show during Amsterdam Fashion Week 2025, showcasing 20 emerging designers.
Showcasing 10 emerging sustainable designers
Now returning to Amsterdam Fashion Week for its second runway show, The Creative Lab will showcase 10 emerging sustainable designers based in the Netherlands, each presenting four looks.
Following the runway presentation, all featured designs will be available for purchase in the showroom, creating a direct connection between designer and wearer and supporting a more accessible and sustainable fashion industry.
